Welcome to Houston 's Briargrove subdivision website. Established in the 1950's, Briargrove is one of the most family-oriented neighborhoods in town. In fact, a significant percentage of current homeowners grew up here and have moved back to raise their own families. Additionally, Briargrove's in-town location and closeness to many of Houston 's shopping and entertainment venue's has kept property values strong throughout the years.
Briargrove neighborhood has approximately 900 homes with a strong homeowners association, a common clubhouse, play area and pool, and a great elementary school with a park. The clubhouse and pool are for residents and paid memberships only, and we have an active local swim team, the Barracuda's. The award-winning Briargrove Elementary School is a big part of the neighborhood and the park located on the school grounds is a busy gathering spot for kids daily.
An elected, nine-member Board of Directors is charged with managing the operational and administrative matters of the property association which includes setting mandatory maintenance dues and fees for services, maintaining deed restrictions and establishing architectural guidelines for new construction and remodeling activities.
With the recent street construction and the brand new Briargrove Elementary our neighborhood is set to continue to be one of the most desired places to live in Houston. Our beautiful park and pool give residents areas to relax and play right in the neighborhood and yet still be right in middle of our vibrant city. Just be careful driving through because we have lots of strollers, joggers, little walkers and bike riders (some not too good yet!).
If you have any questions, suggestions or just need additional information please feel free to contact our property manager or any of our association's board members. Additionally, we welcome your suggestions on the content and information contained in our website.
